This commemorative crown was dedicated to the Declaration of Independence
The reverse of the coin depicts Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia mydas) swimming in the sea; while the obverse features the portrait of Sir James Richard Marie Mancham, a Seychellois politician who founded the Seychelles Democratic Party and was the first President of Seychelles from 1976 to 1977
The coin comes inside original blue hard plastic container
