    Description

    In the late 1980's and 1990's the Amoco Oil Company tried to diversify its business by adding a laser division. No kidding!They made very high quality DPSS lasers which were mostly hand-built and cost well over K in 1990 dollars. This example is rated 50 mW @ 1064 nm TEM 00 polarized and is producing around 57 mW or 53 mW with the optional beam expander / collimator installed. Turn on the rear main power switch, wait 10 minutes for the laser to reach temperature and turn on the key. The laser will come up to power in a couple minutes and stabilize. Professionally tested and properly working. With no S in the model numner we don't believe this to be single frequency, but we did not test for that. The Newport breadboard and Amoco collimator will be included with a buy it now, power meter NOT included. Very high quality, ready to mount to your table. Thanks for looking!
