Our Eastern Aromatic Red Cedar trees are grown and milled in the United States. We also conduct most of our packaging and all of our testing inside of the USA. The rings are manufactured over-seas right now but we are striving everyday bring these jobs to America. We are currently in negotiations with investors and preparing to construct and factory in the United States. This will bring many jobs to the United States.
I started this company on my own and have done much of the work in my home and garage. We have expanded to an office and have just begun to hire employees. We will continue to scale one sale at a time. Our mission statement for Cedar Sense is to bring employment opportunities to America and we rest every night on those laurels.

I believe it is important to know the difference. I have found that many use Western Red Cedar too, where we ONLY use Eastern Red Cedar. Eastern Red has a stronger sweet smell with a higher content of cedrene camphor oil. This oil is what is used to naturally protect the cedar tree from natures pest. It also give it that AMAZING SWEET SMELL that everyone is so grown to love. Western cedar is also lighter in weight, making shipping cost lower. We provide Quality over Quantity and are able to keep right with everyone else.

Hello my name is Michael and I am the owner of Cedar Sense. I started this company to create the American dream for my family. We strive to give the very best service and quality to everyone.
We are located in Northern MN. I have many years of experience with cedar dating back to my days of working at lumber mill in my youth. Cedar has always been a passion of mine. I LOVE the smell of cedar!!! and so will you if you've yet to try it.
