Complete Coherent Sapphire LPX 532-300 Laser System including the head, controller, cables and power supply. You will need to supply a suitable heat sink for the head. This is the high-power (LPX), fiber coupled (FPT) version which produces >300mW at a wavelength of 532nm coupled to a polarization-maintaining single-mode fiber. We carefully test these systems at 110% power and guarantee they perform like new. We have several of these lasers so the serial numbers in the pictures may not match the unit you receive. Check the System Specifics below for information about the system offered in this listing.
Note that these lasers do not auto-start on power up. To enable the laser, you'll need to connect a computer to the USB or RS-232 port and use a terminal emulator software to issue a few simple commands. We use the free PuTTY terminal software on Windows computers here. The connection should be made at 19,200 baud. Once connected, you can enter the command L=1 to enable the laser. L=0 will disable the output without powering off the system. In addition, the laser is set to power up at 10mW. To increase the power, you can enter the command P=300 or any other value between 10 and 330mW. We will provide the buyer a copy of the operators manual on request.
