These are prototype DPSS lasers that were made for use in a high brightness theater projectors. They are not plug-and-play and are intended for someone with experience with this sort of equipment. Please consider this a partially assembled kit of parts you can use to make a high peak power infrared or green laser. We can offer only limited technical support. These are a simple L-fold configuration. The heart of the laser is a Q-peak Corona Multi-Pass Slab (MPS) Gain Module. This contains a 28×6×2mm slab of Nd:YLF side pumped by 2 40W laser diode bars. It is configured so that the beam passes through the slab 3 times for better absorption of the pump energy and increased gain. The cavity is formed with 2 HR mirrors and an OC mirror at 45 degrees forming the "L". A q-switch is used to create high peak power pulses and an LBO crystal is used for second harmonic generation of 523.5nm green from the 1047nm fundamental IR. All of the optics appear to be plano.
This being a prototype, the LBO was not protected in any way and the AR coatings were damaged as we received it. We swapped in a new 5x5x15 LBO crystal made for use with 1064nm lasers and with coarse alignment, got the laser making green light. In the picture showing ~700mW output, the pump diodes are running at 35A and the q-switch rate is about 2.5KHz. With proper alignment and tuning, this laser should be capable of producing at least 20W average power. This is built with off-the-shelf Newport and Thorlabs parts. This listing includes the matching q-switch RF driver that has built-in first pulse suppression.
This is plumbed for water cooling of the gain module, q-switch and LBO crystal. The tubing is configured with a primary loop for the pump diodes and a secondary loop for the YLF slab, q-switch and LBO. The flow in the secondary loop can be controlled with a small regulator. Mating CPC quick disconnect fittings will be included.

In order to run the laser, you will also need:
A laser diode driver capable of producing up to 50A with a compliance voltage of at least 4V.
A water chiller good for a few hundred watts of heat removal.
A signal generator to control the Q-switch pulse rate. YLF lasers generally run at 5KHz or less.
