Please note that CMIzapper produces these Matt cards for many models of MacBook.
But (!) you do need a specific Matt card for each specific model of MacBook.
If you have a different Mac then this Matt card will NEVER work.
This Matt card is only for the MacBook 12 inch (Mid 2017) A1534 emc3099
Machine ID: MacBook10,1
Motherboard model: 820-00687
If the motherboard number or the Machine ID or the emc code is correct them you know for sure you that this is the correct Matt card.
To mount the Matt card you have to open up the Mac. You only have to remove the bottom cover, but you probably will need a funny pentalobe screwdriver to get in.
We can sell you the screwdriver, but it is not included in this price.
The Matt card has to remain inside the Mac. It is designed to to be very small and fit perfectly. Just screw the cover back on the Mac and leave the Matt card inside.
EFI BIOS firmware chip for Apple MacBook A1534.
Brand new programmed and verified BIOS Chip (same thing as EFI chip).
This one comes mounted on a little board (The Matt Card).
Rather than soldering out the old chip and soldering in the new chip, with this solution you only have to plug in this board. You don't even have to take the motherboard out of the case!
While plugged in it overrides the old chip on the mother board.
