Electromagnetic flip disk display 5x7 split dot matrix
The flip disk assembly includes a permanent magnetіs. The
selected flip disk changes position the point has a rotation
of 90 degrees according to the controlled change in the
magnetic field of a closely coupled electromagnetic coil. The
control signal simply reverses the direction of the current
pulse through the coil that reverses the magnetic field of the
coil. The permanent magnet located in the rotary button is
either attracted or repelled by the field produces in the coil.
The flip disk remains in the position to which it was last
turned until the coil field is reversed by another current pulse.

This display is good item for original digital clock. The
displays were dismantled from the working stand.
Changing the position of the flip disk is accompanied by
distinctive sound. Сurrently I do not know the wiring diagram. When applied to a single point 12 V DC, it switches.
