    Description

    Here is a very rare to find Lightwave
    Electronics
    Nd: YAG NPRO laser system (serial number matching head and controller), 1064 nm, rated 4.0 mW.  Outputting a measured 4.5-5.3 mW this laser is in good condition. This model laser operates in the
    constant
    current mode with a fixed pump diode temperature and variable operating current for power control. The NPRO crystal
    temperature
    can be changed by the user to tune the wavelength. There are BNC inputs for slow thermal tuning or fast PZT tuning. The base of the laser head will need to be mounted on a heat sinking surface.
    The system is in good used condition, ready for your experiments.   NPRO lasers have VERY narrow linewidth and are used for LIGO. Very low noise only power line and relaxation oscillations around 300 kHz. See spec sheet.  If you want a single frequency CW Nd: YAG 1064 nm tunable (between mode hops) laser, this is it.  Lab jack and power meter not included. Thanks for looking. No bad lasers!
