This listing is for a new cmos rtc bios backup battery that fits on the motherboard of the models listed below: The rtc bios battery is a coin cell battery that provides a 3 volt bias to the motherboard's RTC (Real Time Clock) circuit, enabling the motherboard to keep date and time settings. When the notebook has a problem with keeping the date and time, then the RTC Battery might be low voltage and requires a replacement.
