    Description

    This a clean used New Focus model 7004 laser, 633 nm around 5 mW output power with Vortex 6000 controller. Extended cavity diode lasers like this are designed to operate single frequency and can replace stabilized HeNe lasers for many applications. This laser
    operates
    properly in the constant current mode up to near 6 mW and can be set in the constant power mode also at 5 mW maximum. Set at say 3 mW to 4 mW  in constant power it would be very stable and have a long lifetime. Beam profile looks round near the laser but this is an uncorrected diode laser; in the far
