Rebuilt 532nm Coherent Genesis Laser OPSL

Description

Formerly a 1W single mode genesis laser that had a diode mishap. I replaced the dead diode with a stronger version. The laser now works again but is multimode and more powerful now. Due to the larger diode pump, the current threshold is higher but output can exceed a couple watts now. It probably wouldn’t be suitable for most scientific work now, but it would probably be right at home inside of a projector or similar :) Questions are welcome! Selling it as is however, since the head is opened, and improper handling or tampering could damage the head like it would any other electronic components. Be sure you’re familiar with electrical and laser safety.
