The cmos bios battery being offered here are based on a 3 volt 210mah rating system board need, where what is required is a cable and 2 pin plug. The 2 pin plug is a molex picoblade 1.25mm type (Picoblade housing) that is fitted to a receptacle on the system board for it's integration.
The renewal or replacement process might be something that can be somewhat challenging depending on the specific model of notebook, yet in most cases technical manuals will allow the scope of it's replacement process and allow owners to replace and renew the cmos battery.  If in doubt, please ask us to assist or redirect you to that source help.

The testing will render an acceptable function in the notebook provided it meets or exceeds the requires specified  minimum +2.5volt in providing an approximate 5-15microampere current drain( our shipments are +3.2v to +3.31volts typically).
There will be issues ( technical issues) with regards to all electronic hardware that will require a more adept skilled technician to resolve discrepancies.
The discrepancies can be factors of  tolerances due to mating, which are deemed as intermittencies, which requires fault isolation testing. These are achievable circumstances that skilled technicians can provide which defines the capable level of competency technicians attain.
