    Description

    The Invention of Tea by M. VdeB.
    Once upon a time there were two Chinese Princesses, Mu-Fi and Ho-Pi.
    One boiling hot day, while seated in their boat (upon little cushions of tea leaves), a furious storm brewed.  Forced to abandon ship, the Princesses and their crew, Lu-Lu and Purr-Li, cleverly threw their cushions overboard to make stepping stones towards the Isle of the Blue Pagoda. The coming together of the tea-leaf-filled boat cushions upon boiling waters, and four thirsty comrades sipping up the sea of tea, proved to be a landmark moment in the beverage industry.
    This custom designed tea set consists of a teapot, four cups, four saucers, a sugar bowl, creamer and tray, all of porcelain bearing the Blue Pagoda pattern.
