WORLD WAR II/WW2--REMOTE ARTILLERY TRIGGERING DEVICE--FRANCE--1935

Description

Looks like a remote trigger device, presumably for an artillery field piece.....made in Paris, it was used by Germany along with a range finder during World War II.....some irony here....length of the wire allowed a soldier to trigger the artillery piece from a distance of over 40 feet and very quickly rewind the heavy wire back in the housing for the next round.....please look at all the pictures and send all questions before bidding.....if I am incorrect about anything, please correct me.....at any rate.....payment within 24 hours of auction end....shipping is USPS Priority Mail....thanks for looking and please see my other auctions for more cool items
