has never been used, and was made in the
USA
.
Box Dated 363 (March 1963 SEE THE PHOTOS)
This
Unique Style
CV590 (GM #5649689)
, to the best of my knowledge,
has not been
produced by AC Spark Plug Division, since about 1964-1965.
The
later versions
(1965 & Newer) are labeled
CV590C PCV Valve
(GM #6421934).
You will receive what is in the photos THIS IS
MY ONLY VALVE
OF THIS PART #
However, a little research shows that the
CV590C
,
as GM calls it
superseded
, the
original factory installed
CV590
on or about 1965.
One look at the (2) valves tells the story. The
CV590 (Ventilator Valve)
is much heavier, is made from heavy milled steel and
is black
. While the
CV590C (PCV Valve)
is lighter, appears different, and is clearly manufactured from a light gauge shiny stamped steel.
Also, note the
CV590 box
, has
no zip code
, which became mandatory sometime on or about 1967. This
CV590
is a
survivor
, and though its little box shows minor shelf wear, the
Valve is in Excellent NOS Condition
(see all the photos)
.

condition.
